VINTAGE

It makes me so happy when I pull a piece of clothing out of storage that I've owned for years and it's right on trend (and still fits!). It makes me feel justified for keeping hold of things seemingly past the expiration date.

This is a dress I bought from my friends fabulous vintage store, Gotta Have It in about 2005 and I LOVE it!

Also, I'm loving my new Juliet & Company necklace and I have a feeling you're going to be seeing it featured on Ladyboots quite a bit, so apologies in advance!

THRILLER

I couldn't believe my luck when I came across this vintage Michael Jackson Thriller T-shirt, whilst trawling the pages of Etsy recently. I guess one person's garbage is another's treasure!

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson's Bad album release. 25 years of Smooth Criminal and Man In The Mirror (my personal favorites).

As a massive MJ fan, I am so excited about Spike Lee's documentary chronicling the making of the Bad album. It screens on ABC on Thanksgiving Day. But for those who can't wait (like me), it is playing now in New York and Los Angeles

I had a lot of fun messing around with these pics using the Comic Life app on my MacBook Pro and the results make me wanna sing - Hee Hee!

HOLLYWOODLAND

Mr. Sykes and I took our main man Baxter for a run around the Lake Hollywood dog park, which just so happens to offer one of the best unobstructed views of the Hollywood sign.

I see the landmark everyday and tend to take it for granted, but I'm reminded how excited I was the very first time I saw it years ago, whenever I see tourists standing in the middle of the road just to get a shot with the sign behind them.

This outfit is a bit of a throw back for me. I bought the skirt from Miss Sixty on Carnaby Street in London over a decade ago and the Stella McCartney purse was one of my first treats to myself when I was working on "Las Vegas" back in the day. The Chucks were a recent treat.

ROW YOUR BOAT

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart's core.

MISTER MR

I love a wedding. I am a guarantee for balling like a baby in the aisle's every time. This was true of our friend's Steven and James' nuptials in Palm Springs this summer. The boys looked so handsome in their Gucci tux's, as did Mr. Sykes in his dapper ensemble. Here are a couple of snapshots taken on the day. I wish we'd taken more detailed shots, but we were too busy snapping the grooms!

On Mr. Sykes - Suit, Tie, pocket square and Shirt: J.Crew
Tie Bar: Vintage. (Try Etsy)
Shoes: Bally.

On me - Dress: Jill Stuart.
Shoes: Salvatore Ferragamo. (Similar here)
