When I happened upon these fabulous Male and Female busts from Floral Art in Los Angeles, I was immediately obsessed. So when Mr. Sykes and I headed back to LA for a few days, I had to get them for our house. You can buy them empty or with the succulents planted, and fancying myself as a bit of a Jamie Durie, I bought mine sans plants.
I had a brilliant time at Sunset Nursery picking out all the succulents for Giles and Winifred (I would've been remiss not to name them, I mean come on!!) and these are the results. They make me smile every time I look at them.
Shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up.....I've been after a really cool vase that holds the flowers as hair since seeing Monica's (Friends)hand painted 'face tea rose vase' many years ago. I so desperately want the 'Friends vase' but seeing this I need to get me one - LOVES IT! Lee Anderson x
