ROAST BOWL

Mr. Sykes and I had a rather unsuccessful visit to the Pasadena Rosebowl Flea Market last Sunday. I guess I bragged one time too many about how I always find the exact thing I'm looking for every time I go. I needed bringing down a peg or two.
Ugh! It was such a bummer. Not to mention hotter than a... (fill in the expletive!)
The heat gave me an opportunity to take out my oft forgotten parasol, and rattan visor, which almost made the bum trip worth it-but not quite.
Despite the disappointment, I'm sure I'll be back next month to try again. I will share my spoils with you here, because I always find the exact thing I'm looking for every time I go to the Rosebowl! ; )

Dress: Topshop (similar here), Shoes: Kurt Geiger
Bag: Chanel, Necklace: Storets
Hat: Asos, Watch: Michael Kors, Sunglasses: Karen Walker.

  1. First of all: my lady, this dress is absolutely amazing. I love it!
And your nail paints ( i'm not sure if it's a wrong word ) are really nice.
As usually you have a great style!

(I have to apologize if i was rude and unkind in my previous comments, it wasn't my intent.)

  2. Cute parasol! And I absolutely adore your nails, too. You and your clothes are both so gorgeous! Although bad luck in not finding something for once, haha.

  4. Wonderfully iconic, you there at the Rose Bowl. When in southern California, have you ever found your way to the Long Beach Antique Market? I believe it's got the Rose Bowl beat in terms of size. If you want a guaranteed find that only you as an individual would appreciate, the walk around is well worth it. It's every third Sunday of the month, so if you're still in the greater LA area, you can make it to the September 16th date!

  6. You look like a rose! :)

And your parasol is lovely! Is it one of these Chinese paper-like parasols?

    Best wishes from Europe!

  7. I love your style so much. You know some people tend to overdo things by wearing a lot of stuff all at the same time. But in your case, you always find a way to avoid doing so.You picked a printed dress with colors that don't hurt the eyes and your nail art's got the noticeable tinge of blue to match it.The rattan visor is a perfect balance to your neutral colored comfy sandals. The side braids match the subtle make-up and the whole sunglasses-and-parasol thing just pumped up the entire summer-y look.
Thanks for sharing!Lookin' forward for more. And may you ALWAYS find EXACTLY what you're lookin' for.
    xoxo

  8. Cute nailpolish! I'm guessing it's multiple colours underneath, and a crackle affect on top? I love it.

  9. That dress is adorable Marsha! And I see you're enjoying the WC as a chance to play with fun nails! Right now I'm rocking the rainbow trend. I'm having too much fun with all the crazy colors.
